My McCain Ad Critique… the man has seriously lost touch with reality.

As if the last ad about Paris and Britney wasn’t bad enough, the McCain campaign has released one that is even more baffling. I could at least understand him wanting to put Paris and Britney is an ad, he does have a thing for younger blonds with substance abuse issues.

CNN has a story running about a kitten in South Bend, Indiana that supposedly has an image of Jesus in its fur. I watched the video and you have to REALLY stretch the limits of your imagination to look at the cat’s fur swirl and see what they want you to see.

I’m not sure why this is such a hot topic any more, but since California is about to begin marrying same sex couples today at 5:01 PM some people are in a tizzy. Gay marriage is a right and it is going to happen, so the objectors should really just get over it already.

The fact is that people go to the STATE for their marriage license, not the church. Church policy, doctrine, and/or dogma should have no bearing on the marriage issue. Marriage is a legal contract. As far as I am concerned that contract can be written any way the parties agree to - and that includes plural marriage as well.

The Justice Department’s Office of Special Investigation has been pursuing naturalized citizens with alleged Nazi ties for around three decades. The office has prevailed in more than 100 cases, leading to at least 65 deportations.

They got another victory today in their case against former Nazi guard Anton Geiser. Thumbs up for justice, even belated justice.

Yahweh, or at least the House Of Yahweh has issued a warning that nuclear war could be coming as soon as next week, June 12, 2008 to be more specific. What proof does Yisrayl Hawkins, head of the House of Yahweh religious sect have of this upcoming nuclear strike? Not much.

And this isn’t the first time Yisrayl Hawkins and the House Of Yahweh have warned us of the gloom and doom of Armageddon. Yahweh apparently likes nukes and that will be what kicks off the end times.
