Right now Merck & Co. Inc lawyers are probably scrambling to protect the company from the lawsuits that are sure to be filed in the very near future. Lawyers will be falling all over themselves to get a piece of this action. If you or a member of your family has received the Gardasil vaccine shot don’t be surprise if you don’t get a letter or phone call from a lawyer.
I am wondering if the doctors who gave out the shots are going to be named in the coming lawsuits. Will malpractice insurance cover something like this?
I bet Texas is glad now that their little plan to FORCE every young female to receive the Gardasil vaccine didn’t go through.
I am all for medical advancement but sometimes drugs are rushed to market without being proven to be effective let alone safe. When public safety isn’t in question whether to be vaccinated or not should be a personal decision. Texas’s attempt to make such a vaccine mandatory was only about the money. I blame the greed of Merck & Co. Inc. for the very attempt to make this shot mandatory for all young women. So I hope they have a massive lawsuit over this.
Sometimes a lawsuit is the only way to rectify corporate greed. Best of luck to the families affected by this vaccine.
I bet Merck is wishing they were “one less”, one less lawsuit that is.
I agree that a lawsuit is sometimes the only way to make major corporations take notice and change their policies. Too bad so many young women are paying the price for corporate greed.
It reminds me of a scene in the popular 1980’s comic Bloom County where Steve Dallas, the only attorney in town, is thrilled at the financial prospects of the town getting a second lawyer. If people were actually hurt by the Gardasil vaccine then they deserve to be compensated but the lawyers shouldn’t be allowed to become wealthy while their clients receive a pittance.
thanks harley reminding me of the movie
Good information for me.
