Budweiser’s Swear Jar commercial is one of the funniest I have seen in a long time. Too bad it will not air on mainstream American television. I do wonder how much money that office swear jar raised. I would love to see a follow up commercial.

Swear jars are nothing new, many households have them. In the Army we often had an alternative which was push ups but that was only when some up tight commander was in charge. Swearing is so common in the military that it is very hard to even realize how often a cuss word flies out of your mouth.

With the economy in such dire straights a swear jar could prove very effective at helping people break the swearing habit. So if you toss out obscenities on a regular basis try holding yourself accountable with a swear jar.

A swear jar may not break you of cursing completely however it can help you get your personal finances under control. All the money you put in the swear jar will add up over time and then you can buy yourself something nice. You don’t have to buy Budweiser. Depending on how bad your 4 letter word habit is your reward may be something as simple as dinner or could be as extravagant as a cruise vacation.

I love Budweiser beer but I love the creativity of the company even more. They are always looking to entertain customers, which is why even people who don’t like to drink Budweiser think highly of the company.

If you like funny commercials, YouTube has plenty of them to watch, hours of free entertainment.
