But the current controversy is over the age difference between the Grey’s Anatomy star and his companion. A 16 year gap isn’t nearly as bad as some of the other Hollywood couples so while it is unusual, I don’t think it is scandalous.

At 19 Mark Cornelsen is an adult and is free to date whomever he chooses. TR Knight may be a bit of a cradle robber but as long as Mark is of consenting age I don’t have a problem with it.

Right now TR Knight and Mark Cornelsen are in love. Love makes many relationships seem ideal. Time may show that such a large age gap eventually takes a toll.

To the young there is an appeal of dating someone older who is financially stable and well established. For the old dating a younger partner is a shot of youth that is still longed for deep within.
